Upon completing a Bachelor of Communication - Media & Multimedia Production at the University of Canberra in 2002, Angela worked as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator at Hyatt Hotel Canberra. This entailed ensuring all administrative duties were carried out in a timely manner and the office environment was maintained at a professional level at all times. She regularly assisted with the compilation of direct mail campaigns to qualified databases. In particular, she was responsible for designing and creating email templates.

After a year in that position, Angela was promoted to Catering Sales Executive. She was responsible for selling and coordinating events, conferences and functions. It was in this position that Angela built strong skills in client relations, communication and time management in a fast paced, high pressured environment. She produced group proposals, contracts and yield managed accommodation groups and conferences whilst achieving forecasted budgets.

After 6 years in the hospitality industry, Angela joined the team at contentgroup in February 2006 as Executive Assistant to Director David Pembroke. Her role involved ensuring the smooth operation of the office facilities on a day to day basis and managing the financial administration of the company. She provided administrative and secretarial support to the Director and the team.

As a Communication Coordinator, Angela undertakes a variety of communications tasks including writing, research, design and implementation of communication strategies and tactics.  She is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with her clients.  Her role involves liaising with all levels of personnel, including media, on behalf of her clients.
