Miss Rowena Harbridge – Communication Coordinator
Rowena completed a Bachelor of Communication, specialising in Public Relations, at the University of Canberra in 2003. For the past 3 years Rowena has put her theoretical knowledge into practice in various private, government and not-for-profit communication roles.
Recently joining the team at contentgroup, Rowena made the move from ACT Health where she was a Public Affairs Officer. Her duties included regular and extensive media liaison, event management, editing and writing for different mediums, as well as publicity. Rowena was also responsible for writing media releases and alerts, ministerial briefs and protocols, therefore gained extensive experience in writing for the Government sector.
Preceding this position Rowena worked at the RSPCA ACT Inc. in the pivotal Public Relations and Fundraising role. It was here that she enhanced her writing and design abilities as she was solely responsible for all published material, including all design, research, content and editing. Publications included external newsletters, brochures, marketing material and the annual report.
Rowena is enthusiastic and thrives on working in a rewarding environment. With a drive and desire for learning and bettering her knowledge, Rowena will look to further her skill set by completing more courses in communications.
Rowena’s primary role at contentgroup involves her providing support to David Pembroke and completing various communications tasks.
